2g clutch pedal assembly in 1g?

As the title says, will a 2g clutch pedal assembly work in a 1g?

I would have to see a pic of the 2g assembly, but I highly doubt it is a direct bolt-on. Reason I say this is because the 2g assemblies don't fail like the 1g ones so I would assume people have looked into doing the fit.
You may possibly be able to swap the rod and zbar which is what actually fails? Just a thought though.
With some fab skills anything is possible
