2G Clutch pedal assembly

Ok I got my vlutch pedal assembly welded. It helped greatly for a day or two. Its back to the way it was. Im losing about a inch of travel. I just got dont taking it back out and weld did not break. Weld is shotty and poorly done. What else can I do to gain my pedal travle back? More weld? What else can cause the assembly to slip like that?

The end of the lever where the pedal inserts into rounds out. I don't know of anyone successfully welding it, but replacing a few of the parts should do the trick. Look into Sheptrans. I think they have a rebuild kit or sell the parts you need to have it right again.

Your talking about where the pin goes in for the clutch master right? If so thats not rounded out at all, still had plastic bushing and looks perfect to me. I will check out the rebuild kit though

Yes that is what I am referring to. Sometimes it will look good, but still be worn enough that it will cause problems. Mine also looked ok, but I was having the same problems. I ended up replacing the bushings, lever, and nut and washer. Worked out well. Now that I think about it since I replaced a few pieces it could've been the bushings that needed replacing only.
