2g CAS information...

How can you tell if your (2G)CAS is 180 off? I was told that my car could still run but i would have ignition misfire. Please clarify somebody.
I've searched but couldn't find many pictures inside a 2g CAS. If you remove the 5 bolts to the outside of the CAS it should come off correct? Or do I have to hold the Cam to take off the bolt in the middle of the CAS?

It will be obvious as your car will run like crap.

No need to take the entire thing off. Just take the thin cover off(2 bolts, if I remember correctly). At that point, the CAS magnet is held on to the end of the cam by one bolt (12mm if I remember correctly). Just take it off and turn it 180*.

Im going to try that. Earlier I tried to take the bolt off that is connected to the Intake Cam...I ended up having to re do timing...

At tdc the smaller side of the trigger should be at the top side

So if there's no little dot shown then its on backwards?

And if I wanted to test it out, what am I looking for?

If at TDC just make sure the little tab part is to the upper left of the big tab part

Just make it look like the pic...Otherwise your cas is 180 out....while at TDC
