Ok so my car will run fine if I just drive it around, but as soon as I make a WOT run till redline the car will start dieing and wont even try to keep its own idle and the oil pressure light will start coming on. I am able to keep the car alive by keeping my foot on the gas pedal and if I rev it up past like 1200rpms the oil light will go away.If the car dies and I restart it, it will just die again but if the car sits for awhile like a half hour or so when I go to restart it, it will run fine again. Also if I drive it after it dies and still wont keep its own idle it seems to run on the rich side. Theres no cel, can someone please tell me what to check. Thanks

Kind of sounds like low fuel pressure to me. When you give it gas the rpm is dropping, that is why the oil light is coming on. It could also be a blown intercooler coupler or something like that also.

You've tested it for boost leaks? Have you verified that the intake is connected? Also what makes you so sure about the fuel pressure?

Try to provide every detail you can about the way the engine is running after WOT pull. Do you have any logging capability?

Does it miss fire before it dies? Does it hiccup? Paint a picture for the wise tuners, you never know what small detail might provide insight.

Car hiccups sometimes in very low RPMs and has trouble putting down power even with the boost and rpms raising . just did BLT ,plugs and wires. after that problem goes away and sometimes just doesn't occur at all about 30-40 minutes of driving if the car comes to idle the oil pressure drops and the light will flicker on and off, shortly after the car will die if i don't give it any gas..... if it dies , sounds like its flooding , and won't start back up for a few minutes. starts back up and is fine for awhile then does the same again. No data logging yet thats coming in a few weeks.

car is getting 100 miles on the tank .... just easting gas, I'm not trying to run it too hard just drive it around and monitor behavior.

This may sound a lil odd. But have you checked your throttle position sensor? I mean, it has nothing to do with the oil pressure light coming on, but the whole car dying off could be because of a faulty TPS. Check that out first since you can do that for almost 0$ if you have the sensor tool. Which is like 12 bucks at autozone
