2g Calipers on a 1G AWD?

Can anyone tell me if the 2 piston calipers from the 2G's will fit on a 1G? I read the VFAQ and I realize that the caliper fittings are different (banjo fitting on 2G and threaded on 1G), but if I switch over to 2G Stainless Steel brake lines, will they work on my 91'.

I know I can use Diamante, or DSM 92.5+, or 3000GT N/T calipers, but I can get a good deal on 2G Calipers, mounting brackets and lines from someone.

When I did mine I just bought everything for a 93 eclipse gsx instead of trying to pull stuff from 3 different models. I bought mostly new stuff and paid more, but I'm happy w/ the results.
