I was misinformed about a set of GSX calipers I bought and had powered-coated before they arrived in my hands
Turns out they are for a 3000GT SL and needed a threaded brake hose
SO I bought 4 lines, 2 inside lines and 2 outside lines

Now the 2G brake line is all 1 piece with a banjo fitting on the end. I thought it could be separated in the middle but I was wrong.
Now I went and bought those 3000GT brake lines, paid a lot of $$, realized rockauto was much much cheaper, and I'm stuck again

The 3000GT lines have 2 hoses per side. One hose with a male and female end. The other hose with 2 female ends. How in the world do you connect the 2 female ends together? :aha:

Thank you

I googled the heck out of the sites before I gave in and posted

There is a hard line that goes around the strut to connect them together. Easiest thing to do is run 2 sets of outer lines on each side. I ran this setup for a while but keep having to replace the hoses bc they would get bubbles in them. RRE makes a SS kit to use those calipers, I would recommend investing in those. Thats what Im currently running and they work perfect.

So that's what the stock line looks like. Stupid me thought that metal piece in the middle came apart. That part slides into a bracket/clip on the knuckle to hold the line in place.

The far end of the line goes to the inner fender wall where it meets the hard line.
That should be fun
