Resolved 2g awd fuel siphon

I wouldn't recommend it. I'm sure it will cause more problems later on. What were you doing to the car when it broke?
 
How did the siphon break? In the channel that connects the two inlets? In that case, you would have issues pulling fuel from the driver-side saddle. Were you drilling the relief out because you couldn't lower your fuel pressure to an acceptable level? Post a picture if you can.
 
How did you put the siphon back together? If that piece is not completely sealed, then there is a good chance that you won't draw from the passenger saddle of the tank.

EDIT: I see what you mean about the metal clip, as long as it's properly together then you should be fine.
