Okay, I have a 98 GSX that i just purcased. I am currently over seas right not and plan on doing a good overhaul on the mechanical side of the house. I have a pretty good idea on what I need to do to get it to a "reliable" standpoint. But I also want to make the engine bay look as nice as the outside of the car.

I am painting the car Gunmetal Grey, w/ a flat Black Evo X scheme. Orange/Chrome rims, and alittle carbon fiber here and there. My question is. Where can I find good quality silicone hoses (vacuume, coolant, etc...) that come in orange? I also would like to find some nice chrome, black, and carbon fiber "bolt ons and dress ups to help make it look alittle cleaner.

Please no comments about "that makes it look ricey" or anything stupid like that. :nono:

Also here is a list of what I was kinda wanting. If you know who makes things that will help me. Please let me know

1- Valve Cover- Flat black
2-Spark Plug Cover- Carbon Fiber
3- vacuume hoses- Orange
4-Coolant hoses- Orange
5- Hardpipe couplers- Orange, and black
6- SS t-bolt fasteners
and pretty much anything else that I didnt list that would make it look alittle nicer.

There is a section for parts for both 1g and 2g listed on the main page

As well as many vendor deals everyday also off the main page. I could make a list of close to 20-25 different websites that all offer competitive pricing.

For referance I used Road Race Engineering for all hoses that you mentioned as well as all my couplers, and every last site has tbolt fasteners.

Look around the site a bit. :thumb:

:thumb:Yeah, I have looked at most of those sites. The T-bolts clamps are easy to find. Its the orange hoses that is the main problem. I can't find them any where. And I am really wanting a caron fiber fuse cover, battery tie down, spark plug cover, oil, and radiator cap.

But thanks for the help tho.

I've only heard of one place carrying or rather able to get orange hoses. Uncommon colors are very hard to find as there is no market for them. As for the carbon fiber, out of the little list you made the only one that I can say that would be the easiest to find would be the spark plug cover. All the rest you may need to goto a shop to have covers made. Good luck though.

maybe you can get some orange high heat engine paint and paint the hoses. i realize i'll probably get flamed for saying this but its just a thought. Keep in mind it might flake and look like crap after a while. Once you get everything post some picks. Just remeber to do what you like and not what other people think.

Painting won't work due to flexing and bending. Would be better off trying to dye it and even that would be a major pain if it worked right. Road race does have an assortment of colors though for vacuum lines. Don't know if orange is in there though.

So I think I have found most of my add on parts that I was looking for. Now I am getting ready to buy some nice aftermarket gauges. I am really looking into the AC autotecnic titan series gauges. for the Boost gauge, oil temp gauge, air/fuel gauge and volts gauge. Has anyone one here ever used these gauges. If I am going to use 400$ gauges then I want them to be reliable.:dsm:

the gauges i have never used my self but my buddy has a ten sec talon told me he uses those and they work great. now i cant give oyu my personal opinion due to the fact that i have never used those... but like the other guy said so what you think is nice looking and sick looking because its your car not someone elses... make it your own dsm to stand out from the rest. and that C/F list you have there... thats hella original in my opinion and i would love to see picks of that
