2g 6bolt random missfire Dsmlink ?

I bought a 97 Gsx with a 6bolt swap and its doing the random missfire . I have a dsmlink sitting in my room and i know with the dsmlink you can stop the random missfiring. My question is can i put the dsmlink in the car fix the missfire code and just zero everything out like with an safc because i dont have a wideband in the car yet to do a full tune?

What injectors are in the car? What size injectors is dsmlink burned for?
And yes you can just set dsmlink to stock size injectors and 0 dead time if your on stock injectors and drive it around. Even without a wideband you can tune your ltft lo and mid. Then once you get a wideband do your WOT pulls and adjust.

You need to go into the DSMLink options and tell the ECU to stop doing the random misfire diagnostic check. It's in the ECU drop-down menu, if I remember correctly.

check your ignition timing, 2g's are sensitive to incorrect ignition timing.

You guys.. he's getting the misfire because he is using a 6 bolt in a 2g. The 1g CAS doesn't always get along with a 2g ECU.
This often causes a P0300 code, Multiple Random Misfire, usually during cruise. A "block top" 1g CAS, as opposed to "the green top", is typically less susceptible to this behavior but DSMlink is one sure way to rid yourself of this nuisance. Mr Boxx has it down.

Yep, I was having the same misfire after I had my 6 bolt put in. DSMlink got rid of that annoying problem quickly.
