I am in the process of doing the classic 6 bolt swap crank sensor wire solution using the diagram below. My question is, if it is safe to run the 16 gage wires from the harness into 30 gage wires for the signal inverter. According to the electrical engineering folk at work here, the 30 gage wire is the only one to use on such small tabs when soddering to the inverter and voltage corrector. Yet the diagram has it connecting to the harness which is about 16 gage.
So is this safe? Or is there a better solution?
