Hello everyone, I have been working on the 2g talon that i bought, I just removed the 450cc injectors and installed the RC eng 720cc injectors.

Car mods

20G Turbo,
BFMIC,
Bigger throttle body,
Injen intake,
Apexi exhaust,
Wewsco pistons, forged rods, internals.

The kid i bought the car from lied. Said all it needs is a tune, blah blah blah.

On the way home you could get on the car but you wouldn't go anywhere..... It would rev and spool up, but the car didnt actually launch like it should. It also stalled when i took foot of gas coming to a light, or if i put it in nutruel for w/e reason it would lean out and stall.....

So I replaced the injectors, since he lied and said it had 750ccs, to later tell me he forgot to mention he sold and removed them..... The car now is running rich, at about 3.5k RPMs im getting fuel cut, AFR reads Rich then, BAM starts to die..

Now with all the issues this prev owner lied about, ( I didn't care i liked the car, just wish he threw me in the right direction....) that i have fixed, im not so sure I want to drop more money on a DSMlink,

Too me, it sounds like it need's a tune.... Other ppl say it could be tons of things, vacuum lines ect... Anyone have any thoughts?\

I was shooting for maybe the SAFC 1,2.... but again if there could be more major issues im just going to sell it and try again in the summer.....

Probably needs a bigger fuel pump, pressure regulator, and/or pump rewire.

And, being that you just got the car you should do a boost leak test.

The car should run fine with the mods you have and stock injectors and stock ecu just keep the boost low. check for vacume-boost leaks then senors airflow meter, o2 and such. dont spend money on mods until you get it running 100% as is.
