2100 RPM cold start?

My car has been idling a little on the high side when I start her up in the morning.
To me its normal for the car to idle at around 1500 rpm when started copld, then drop to 750 when warmed.
When I start my car, it idles at 1500 for a few seconds, then slowly rises to 2000-2100 rpm for about 30 seconds then slowly goes down to hot idle as it warms up.
What can be causing this? And how normal is it?

my moms grendel does the same thing and when i put it on drive it pushes hard on the mornings and it idles at 2100 too then slowly goes down

My 95 GST does the same thing, even in the summer so I am assuming it's pretty normal.

I dont remember how the 2g idle map is for sure, but I think the 1g is set to about 1700rpms cold.
