Cold Start

Kinda' a dumb question: how hard on my car is a really cold start? Like -20C or worse? I don't drive it when it's that cold or anything, I let it sit and run for awhile before I go. But the actual starting, how bad is that?

it is hard on the motor, because its just metal metal contact, because the oil is really thick and its harder to get to the places its supposed to go. As long as you run 5w-30 you should be fine. But minus 20 is nothing to be worried about anyway.
