I recently bought what i think may be a 20g turbo. the guy i got it from said that it is an authentic 20g, my question is can a 20g have a t3 exhaust housing? And if it is will my o2 housing bolt up to it? also i have heard that it is best to replace the exhaust manifold studs with bolts is this true?

Uh, what are your goals and mods? Your profile only has a 3" exhaust. And if that is all you have, I would not be bolting up a 20g turbo.

As far as It being authentic, why don't you just post up some pics of it and we can tell you easier than explaining it to you.

And why don't you just get a Mitsubishi housing? That's a direct bolt on to the manifold and Down pipe.

Mods at the least you need for that:

Boost gauge, Logger, bigger injectors, safc, mbc, 190 fuel pump, and wideband really. You dont wanna lean out with that extra air it will be pushing. If you are new, read all the Rules & Regulations. xVaq. That will let you know everything you need. Search it up. I'm almost positive this question has been asked.

i havent really updated my account yet, about the exhaust housing i know for sure it is a t3 housing can i take my t25 housing and swap them around or what? i also figured that i have the new turbo and manifold with external wastegate i could just run low boost until i get bigger injectors and a neo. also the turbo has numbers on it dont really remember all of them but i believe the last 5 were like 50047 or something like that what do you guys think

Authentic what? It could very well be an authentic 20g if the parts that rotate measure up. But as far as authentic MHI, then no. MHI would have a Mitsubishi bolton housing. It's either been modified or is a copy. And no, your t-25 housing will not work. It's way too small.

No just a regular mitsu 20g that was custom made with t3 hot side wit a .70 a/r this thing pulls like a mofo full boost 25psi 4300k

i have the exact same 20g except mine is as they stated a direct bolt on, my waist gate flapper has been tig welded shut because i run an external tial waist gate im doubting the hot side can just be swapped out that easily someone ordered that turbo because they probably had the t3 t4 manifold laying around id say....

hey i found out the hot side of the turbo was a td06 housing and i got it all figured out. thanks for yalls help, where is the boost level that i should put it at for 450 injectors?

Definitely a 100% authentic 20G....appears to be a Hahn-built unit.

Most Hahn 20G's had a TD05H turbine, so be sure you're not talking about the wrong thing.

A 20G on 450's? Probably around 10psi.
