Precisely. It's like me knowing I can have a wonderful, flesh-filled relationship with Pamela Anderson, even if I choose not to.

 No I don't have anything fancy, just speedometer.

I run 225/45/17's, if you want to figure out the difference.

funny post... with little mods on my old 97 gs i hit 155mph but it took a very very long time to get up there... a buddy of mine with a evo8 and my other friends gst decided to go full throttle across this bridge to see how fast we could go ... pretty long bridge.. probably not the best place cause of wind gusts but i had hit 170+ mph and i didnt feel much unstability with the car other then once i braked the steering wheel started to shake like crazy.. but thats because of my pads.. i guess i could see a eclipse/talon any dsm for that matter hitting 200 maybe but not safe thats for sure.. but once your going that fast and let off the gas it feels very safe atleast for me.. but to get a non turbo eclipse past 160 your gonna need to go down a hill because it took me about a full mile to get to 155 and it was a farely slanted downhill slightly on a longggggg straightaway interstate at 3am with no traffic. .. i did it cuz i was pissed cuz this girl made me drive real far just to goto a lame party and i was pissed so i took it out on my car LOL..

I went 149MPH on stock tires and rims! and it felt bad! and when you slow down, its dangers to slow down to fast! but Just remember when your ging that fast you have no control after you loose it! or a tire pops make sure you have upgrades before trying to go 200 MPH! that makes me laugh if you want a thrill go race a TRAIN! FaF! STLYE! and GET NOS that can make you go 200!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! hahahah ! good Boosting!

I have the Galant VR-4 tranny and it's never going to come close to 180mph. Basically, the only gear that is longer is the 1st gear, which, on average, goes 5 mph more. Even with my raised redline of 8500, it's not going to see 180mph.
