My first time ever at a 1/4 mile track was July 24th, 2013, and I ran a 16.4 with the car in the condition I bought it in (basically stock and not running great, not bad, but not great).

Since then, I've done a ton of maintenance getting the car back to good mechanical order and making some much needed upgrades, including a new exhaust, ECMLink, MBC and a few other things.

Today was the last day at Bandimere in Denver, CO, and I wanted to get some tuning done in ECMLink (mostly just going through and adjusting timing to remove knock, which is all I really know how to do at the moment :p ).

My first run was 15.1 at 11 psi. Second run was 16.3 (missed second gear :coy::shhh: opps). Turned the boost gauge up to 14psi and ran a 14.6, almost 2 seconds faster than before with just some basic maintenance and mods! I got one more run in before it started to rain and ran a 14.9.

I'm very stoked, I don't even have my injectors, fuel pump, AFPR or FMIC installed yet.

And my weight is looking good (see pics) and I still had my spare tire, tools, 10" sub, box and amp in the car. Gotta have tunes when you're racing. :rocks::hellyeah: :thumb: I've been wanting to weigh my car, and I had no idea they had a scale there :p I just about drove past it on my last run (see end of video) My goal is to get to 2950 by this time next year.

Grats man! Maintence goes a long ways... So does ecmlink :) it's okay I I ly know how to adjust timing as well haha.

Congrats! Seat time is the best way to improve!

Congrats man! That was like my first time at the track... first pass I ran a 16.5 and then second pass I ran a 14.2@98 mph which tickled me to death since I was running 14psi on a 16g with barely any bolt on mods and all I knew how to do with dsmlink was/is adjust timing and fuel in my direct access tables as well LOL... that was about 3 months ago. Now I am down to 12.81@107 as of last weekend when I went out for my tracks last day as well :thumb:.

keep up the great work man!! Faster times will come with more seat time and some much needed mods so that way your turbo is all that is holding you back :hellyeah:
