So in trying to figure out why my car does not seem to pull/boost/spool where I think it should for my 20g I decided to borrow my brothers hallman BC. (I have an in cabin hallman that was purchased new many years ago).

This past weekend I hooked his up and wow total night and day compared to mine. Turbo kicks in at 4k rpm (still higher than I expect) but the fact I actually came to life is a step towards the right direction.

I opened up my in cabin bc and spring and ceramic ball looks good. Closed it back up and went for a spin. Boost gauge reads ~ 20 psi yet no turbo pull. So what gives?

I'll have to check again if mine has the soft or stiff spring.

That's the issue with the In-cabin setup, easy to get a kink. I would first try yours normal in the engine bay and see what happens. If it works like the other you know you have a kink. If not then time to source a new one or get a new spring or make one :). Made mine for like $8-10 from HD racing LOL. Holds 17-18psi no problem and has for years.

Pauley is right. The in cabin regulator is fed inside through a hard plastic line. Not sure where it could kink.

I think I may be running a soft spring vs a hard spring. Will have to check tonight and swap springs with my brothers if that's the case.
