2 Gauge Cluster Bezel

Okay I just installed a 2 gauge bezel on my 2G. I was wondering for those you have installed this on there 2G did they have to remove the protecting window on their cluster to get the gauges to fit in the holes correctly.

It depends on what gauges you are installing, if you have a dremel then trim off the extra plastic from the gauges.

For the one on my buddy's 2G, no he did not have to remove the clear plastic. He is using autometer boost and narrow-band AFR gauges.

On a my autometer cobalt gauge I needed to trim some plastic off the back side of the gauge. Most others it seems you would need to shorten the studs protruding from the back side of the gauge as that is what usually hits the cluster. You no longer have use for the studs but if you sell the gauge down the road someone may not want it for that reason.
