Victoria,
I searched around and even though I'm sure this has been done I couldn't find any info because there's so much CRAP about the pcv amongst the info... I just want to retain all of my stock goodness without dirtying anything up, I already have the fuel filter catch on on the breather to the intake, was wondering, why not just put another fuel filter inbetween the pcv and the intake mani to keep oil out of there too?

well the first fuel filter saved me money on a catch-can yeah.. but I'm talking about using 2 filters (2 catch cans)

something that will catch oil so it doesn't enter the intake, or the intake manifold. Am I not being clear here in what I'm asking? can't seem to get a straight answer, let me try again.... I want to use 2 seperate fuel filters, I already did this to my car:

I want to know if putting another one of these fuel filters in between my pcv and my intake manifold to stop any oil from going in there and mixing with the EGR to make nasty sludge would be a good idea.... anybody else done this?

To most people a catch can is actually a can that catches oil, not an inline filter. That is why you aren't getting a straight answer.

This is what most people consider a catch can: http://www.jmfabrications.com/catalog/product_info.php/cPath/22/products_id/37

You're idea seems fine to me. It's a much cheaper alternative to buying a real catch can and I don't see why it wouldn't work to some degree.

I just wanted to make it generic, in the link I posted that many have refered to in the past it says on the very first line "1. Buy a catch can (fuel filter)" I wasn't trying to make it more complicated, I was trying to simplify things. That vfaq link declairs that a catch can is basically a fuel filter, that's what I was getting at..
