I've already decided on the ross stroker pistons, but I can't order the correct dish until I get my head trimmed and cc'd...

so my question is, for the ross pistons, what would be the best matching rod? Crower? Pauter? Oliver?

I'm currently setting up with a fp red, but planning on moving up to something in the 75-85lb/min range along with nos...just want to build whatever will handle it the best.

thanks for your input!

i reccomend the Manley/SBR rods...i have them in my own stroker and they are pretty badass. capapble of more than you'll EVER make. best street rod money can buy.

and you dont need a 85lb/min. turbo... stay with a FP RED, i have a T67/T4 (75lbs/min) on mine, along with nitrous and its way more than enough for high 9's.

dont buy something you dont need.

Any one of the rods mentioned would probably do the job.
However the best choice would be a billet rod over a forged one. Obviously I prefer Oliver and that’s what I would choose given the fact that they all are pretty much the same price. Oliver’s are among the lightest and yet strongest rods out there and their design and finish are impeccable.
Call me biased or whatever you want but once you've seen an Oliver rods it is pretty hard not to choose them over other rods.
