2.4 conversion?

im posting on my friendas account cause windows is stupid and every time i log him out it just logs him back in so i cant make a profile. any way i just purchased a 97 RS. i want to eventually boost the car and the 4g63 idea is out. i was talking to a friend of mine and he brought up the 2.4 from the dodge stratus. it seems like it would be a fairly easy swap and with a turbo seems like it could yeild some serious gain. i was wondering if any one could give some feedback on whether or not it would be a good swap, cost, fab and the likes. thanks

It will fit, you have to modify the oilpan, a motor mount, turn the cam sensor, and rewire a little bit. If you have a basic level of mechanical aptitude, it is within your realm.

You can turbo the motor you already have, you know. Alot easier.
