2.3 stroker oil type

Im trying to figure out a good starting oil for my freshly broke in 2.3 stroker.
It will be its first oil change. The block still has SAE 30
Any suggestions

This is what I use for the first 20 miles of driving
AMSOIL Break-In Oil (SAE 30)
Then I switch to conventional 10w-40 for a 1000 miles.
I normally change the oil at 20 miles (break in oil), 100 miles, 500 miles, and 1000 miles.
Then I run fully synthetic amsoil and change the oil as needed.

Thanks. I changed it with Amsoil 10-40.
But now I have a huge possible problem. I am hearing a large ticking noise coming from my timing belt region of the car. Any ideas? I really hope it isn't crank walk

You put amsoil in right after changing your break in oil?
You should be running conventional oil after the break in oil not fully synthetic amsoil.

Did you prime the lifters by hand and then drain them before install?

Give me more details as to what you did for break in procedure.
