Hello I know this has been gone over before but I have some concern. I noticed a small ticking sound like the old school 1mm lifters but it sounded more or less in the lower end of the motor. I pulled my pan today for the second time number 4 oil squirter is missing down in the bottom of the pan. Now I am not sure if this for some reason would cause the lifter like tick noise but I inspected everything and it seems to be legit. I am pulling all the rod caps to ensure there is no damage to the bearings. My question is why is this a problem has anybody found the true fix? Will this cause a lifter like tick sound? Any feedback is greatly appreciated!

yes it will cause the ticking sound as the squirters are hitting the bottom of the pistons. you need to either run evo squirters or just plug them up completely. I had a 2.3 stroker from slowboy that the squirters were still in and they all came out and I lost all my oil pressure. Since i had bought it second hand no warranty for me. i was out 3500 bux. my suggestion is to replace the squirters before more damage is had.
