Hi all. I just installed my 2.3 SBR long block and I have extremely low oil pressure. I have an autometer guage and it reads bellow 15psi and the idiot light luminates. I have only run the motor for a total of 10 minutes. There are no visable oil leaks. Is it possible that the oil cooler be clogged? That is about the only part I have not replaced. Any input would be helpful.

Did you prime the motor before starting?

Also, what oil are you using?

If you need more help, give us a call!

Mike thank you for the reply. I disconected the coil pack and craked the motor over at least a dozen times in a thirty minute window. I had filled the turbo with oil as well as the oem oil filter. I am using Castrol GTX 20W-50. You can ask your guys in sales, I did not cut any corners and only bought top notch parts for this car. I am away from the car now, but I will be in contact with your team once I am home.
Have a great Holiday:)
