So this trying to turbo my car thing has gave me a headache. My conclusion is basically I am screwed. I really don't want to sell my car and hunt down a new (turbo) one.

So, if I keep my 2.0 N/T, what kind of things can I do performance wise to make it quicker? Anything?

I know a turbo would help but I have already been down that road of asking how and pretty much been told I'm screwed. The turbo motor won't bolt right into my car and yadda yadda yadda..................

loook in the tunig guide. it is definately there for a reason.

i/h/e ignition , tb, internals. you can go all out if you really want to.

Wasn't there somebody on here that was rebuilding his n/t to an 11 or 12:1 CR and using ITB's? What happened to that project?

How about bolting on a turbo? You can run conservative boost, and provided you hunt for the best deals/used parts, it will be cheaper than swapping in a turbo motor. Don't bother buying a 'turbo kit', buy each part individually and over time. If you plan on doing this, then don't bother getting the intake/header, as it won't be useful after you slap a turbo onto your 2.4.

I know GSGoinFast is going turbo relatively soon, PM him and I'm sure he'll tell you what he's scheming.
