So i got a GS-t. Finally satisfying my need for spool. I was driving it home from tennesse. I live in Lake Charles. About 500 miles into the trip, i had a major problem. The car sounded like a go cart, it felt like it was bogging out, and it was literally shooting sparks and blue flames out of the exhaust. If i let it chill for a bit, then drove it, it would not do it for a mile or two, but then start again...

WHAT THE HELL DO I DO?

no we dont have emmisions here, does that mean just get rid of the cat and put up a test pipe?

no, i was running out of daylight yesterday. Boost leak will be the next on the checklist, as well as all the fluids in the car being replaced and all of the belts checked.

Im going to go ahead and say hes getting the random missfire from the 6bolt swap. No dsmlink, I doubt the vehicle has the potentiometer mod done to it. I drove my car 4 months after I baught it with the 6bolt swap done before it started missing. Maybe his just happened to be a little earlier.

Yea considering he threw a code for a misfire, and the engine problems I'd say its the swap misfire. If it was just smoke or flames it could just be exhaust but do the potentiometer mod for sure.
