After having a variety of things that needed to be fixed on my 1st gen the time came.
Back in January '08 my bell housing bolts mysteriously disappeared and caused havoc on my trans. Long story short, i purchased a Shep stage 2 trans/ competition clutch(also stage 2) and babied it for 500 miles.(734 as of tonight)
This brings us to the next topic of driveshaft U-joints, carrier bearings and the slip yoke. Prior to the trans i rebuilt the driveshaft.
So today after ripping out my power steering rack, replacing inner tie rods and replaced all the rusted out lines i decided to go to walmart for some DVD+Rs.
On my way home I'll just say i encountered an opportune time to try out a 4k launch. Needless to say my car felt like a cat with razor sharp claws on carpet from the dig.

Last time i did any 4-4.5k launches it was on my stock clutch(yep didn't hold up too nice), and my SBR4000 which i loved.
Now if i can only get my PK issue solved.

im not dropping it in drive, i do that with my uncles neon, i hold the brakes but i do feel them start to slip after 4k rpm, my brakes are pretty amazin on my gsx, everytime i have a chance to launch it i stop and think, which is a pretty good idea since dsms just fall apart driving them on the highway, let alone launching a stock one
