I haven't seen too many 1G owners talk about the feramic clutch. I'm looking for a good alternative to the 2600, and the AMS Feramic seems to be the best alternative. Good or bad experiences anyone?

I've got one, car isn't running yet those (how many times have you read that one?) I'll report back in a month or 3.

My AMS feramic went out (started slipping badly) after only 800 miles and three runs. I now have the ACT 2600 and it has shown no problems after four runs. My best run is 12.2 @ 116mph so I was definately not over the specs of the clutch.

I am not useing an ams clutch, but the one I have does have a feramic disc. Its made by South Bend Clutch that is rated at 650 ft/lbs. I dont know who makes the ams clutch. I cant give much personal info on mine since I was only able to make 2 passes on before my tranny got stuck in 3rd. I did have 1.72 and 1.73 60' times on those test runs. I think my best last year with the act2600 was 1.75.
