1gb projectors/hid - actual hid system

So I got those projector headlamps off of ebay a few months ago, after installing, I noticed that the beam isnt pointed forward but splits up in two directions upward and downward angle, so you can see up in the trees and a couple feet in front of the car but no ahead of you. I was wondering if nayone has done a projector install on a 1gb car?

I see kits on ebay and am wondering if any of you have reccomendations:

I was also considering getting long distance foglamps, since the dsm come prewired for fogs, Id just have to splice the oem wire coming out the stock unit and plug and play, and just leave the headlamps to look all pretty

I do not know which ones are good so Id appreciate some input

From what i've read (www.hidplanet.com) hid kits are junk. You would be best off doing a retro fit. And if you are going to spend that much on a kit you could buy a whole set from like a audi A4, 6, 8. go to hid planet to learn how to make a harness. I think im just going to go with the long distance foglamps and save me the headaches.

When installing HID's your going to have them retro fitted in, otherwise the light beams will seperate and go all over blinding oncoming traffic.
