I just bought projector head lamps and wanted put a HID kit in.
I've heard from several people that it will melt the housing, and projectors aren't meant to have HID installed.

Can someone shed some light for me? Thx.

which projectors do u have..i have the h3 the old style..and u can put HID in projectors..good luck

Why will HID's melt the projectors? HID's uses 35watt compared to a conventional bulb using 50watt and some of those bulbs out there using up to 100watts. I don't think my HID's produce as much heat as my old bulbs did.
