ok so i was looking around for some threads on a 1ga HID install, couldn't really find anything helpful so i decided to try it on my own and take some pics to show you how mine came out, if anyone needs anymore detailed photos or help let me know !!

so after i removed the old bulbs i realized he new housing for the H4s didnt fit threw the small whole in the rear of the compartment

so i took a pair of vise grips and pulled back on the thin metal, ended up making it fit like a glove

after all the wiring was done ended up being she wouldnt turn on the bulbs, it because the bulbs were made for 35 watt, and wouldnt give her enough from the stock harness, so i did a little rigging on my own, ran a couple of relays from the + battery terminal to the bulb harness, so a couple of cusses later, and she worked like a charm

the difference is extremely visable

I've been looking for something like this. What kinda lense is that, the Euro clear style or the regular style? I wouldn't mind doing a retro fit of projectors but, I have no idea wether or not there's enough space.

The camara always add's ALOT more glare than there really is. People just need to calm down on the HID junk. Deal with it.

I have 8k HID's in my 99' Yukon with Aftermarket Housings. Non-Projector. ZERO Glare. I had a friend drive my truck down the road with me in his truck. Passed each other.

ZERO GLARE. No light going everywhere, looked just like the output of a regular halogen.

Applications may vary. Do your research.

Most Aftermarket Projector's kill the light output. For Halogens and HID's.

People have done this:beatentodeath: to HID's.

Your car, your idea's, your money. Do what you please. Do what you want. Dont care what other people think.

Panties officially in a wad. OP those look great and hope you enjoy your new HID's. Where did you get your's if you don't mind me asking?

True it does vary. I have them and do my fair share of night driving and I'm never "flashed" by other drivers. When I had my Silvania Silverstars, I was constantly being "flashed" for them. There are a couple of deusch bags out here that have huge F-150's and Chevy's with, seems like 8k-10k, HID's that blind the f*** out of all on-coming traffic. It is definitely not safe and actually have to turn my head when they come. Cause they can't already see everything when they're sittin' 6-8 ft. high. I would love to get some HID's for my HIGHs, I never use them now with HID's for lows, and point them straight up for one of those nights they come my way.

Panties's ride up my ass. Switched to boxer brief's.

I agree with the lifted Full-Size trucks that do not aim their headlights. I owned many lifted trucks, first thing I did was re-aim my headlights to adjust for the height so I can see the road.

Ah, thank god you can take a joke. I was afraid you may have taken that one personally. :D Your :thumb: in my book.

I wish they would take your advise and adjust their beams. Sh*t, our cars are pretty low, 10+ year old suspension will do that, and I even aimed mine down low just for other drivers.

Keep thinking this bud. I've seen one of the kits in a 1ga before and it did not look pretty.

Where'd you get your H4 housing and is that the stock backing plate of the headlight? I was thinking of buying one of those H4 conversion kits and just putting the HIDs in (5k btw, I dig the OEM look) but if I can make it fit with the stock housing I'd rather do that. Got a link to that H4 housing/donut.

That's a strange housing, what's the middle part supposed to be? Looks like you just put the bulb through it (obviously) but what is that stock part that's in the pic you just posted supposed to be?

Thanks for the link btw, I appreciate it.
