YES I HAVE SEARCHED! The bulb replacement thread is linked to a dead thread that no longer exists. I DID search the forums also.

I am looking for a replacement bulb if that is possible and how to replace them.

I've never worked on pop ups and I've heard a lot of them are one piece where the whole light assembly has to be bought and installed all over again.

I currently have all white lights from the guy before me and since I work nights and drive through the middle of nowhere to get back into the city good beams are a must have.

Anyone got a tutorial for replacement? I checked visual FAQ and got nothing. I also searched other forums and came up with nothing. I tried google and got dead links. If you have options a pictorial would be perfect:hellyeah:

Solution
First it is a 4666 bulb.

Second put the pop up headlamps in the up position with the button on the left side of the instrument panel. With a Phillips screw driver remove the trim around the headlamp. Two screws in front and one or two on each side. I haven't changed one for a while so I am quoting from memory. Remove at least two of the four screws around the lamp bezel. This is the only thing holding the bulb in place. You can take all four out but I have done it with only removing two and bending the lower tabs and pulling the bulb out the top. Pull the wire off the back of the bulb and reverse the procedure with the new bulb.

Yeah they do they are listed on that site just find out the kind of bulb it is.

Thanks man!

I am looking at sharpHID for some blue lights.

Can you tell me if there are any HIDs I can get on on this site?

SharpHID - Automotive HID Xenon Conversion Lighting Products

I'm not finding 4666 but I wasn't sure if maybe they are called 2 different things or something because I heard someone say they were 9005 and 9006 in another thread?

First off, if you want HID you need to get rid of those H4666 because its a 2 in 1 headlamp. You need to get a light housing by it self like this. That's step 1. Step 2 is buying those HID and using H4 bulbs (that is being use by that conversion). Depending on which HID kit you will eliminate the high beams. I assume you don't want to eliminate your High beams then get this.

Wiring shouldn't be too hard. Oh! an another note don't get too bright of an HID bulb, reasons being is 1, you will blind on coming traffic and 2, when the rain season comes its going to be hard to see.

We use the H6545/H4666 or one of the 4651/4565/4666 H4 housing and a 4666 to H4 adaptor cable. (which are hard as hell to find)

The H4656 usually has a lower wattage bulb in the same sized housing than the H4666.

Also in the same 6.5"x4" (165mm by 100 mm) housing is the single beam H4651.
The connectors are different to keep you from plugging the wrong type in.
