I recently bought a 91' gsx and the car had some electrical bugs. Upon furthur inspection it turns out that it had a short in the headlight motors and roasted a few wires. I found a mint chassis harness at the junkyard for $15 from a 92' Laser rs (non-turbo).

My question is will this chassis harness work in my car. I know the headlights are different but I am already planning on doing a 1gb frontend conversion, so that shouldn't matter.

Also note that all I am replacing only the chassis harness (not the engine harness), it is the one that starts at the junction box by the drivers feet, goes through the firewall around the front end and over to the fuse box, there are no turbo related parts involved with the harness.

I've searched quite a bit to no avail, has anyone done this?

Solution
Well after I pulled my harness out of the car and played with both harnesses for awhile I can say no they are not a direct swap. Everything is pretty straight forward except there are a couple differences at the junction box. Its nothing a little pin reloctaing can't fix.
