Purchased an OEM wind deflector for my 90 Eclipse. However, it didn't come with any hinges. I spoke to Paul at JNZ and he located me some for a 6/90 and on, but mine is 5/90. He told me that he wasn't sure if they would work and if I did buy them, I couldn't return them once opened if they don't fit. So what I'm asking is if someone with a 5/90 or earlier could post a picture of their hinges for the wind deflector and someone with a 6/90 and later doing the same. Or someone just tell me that they are exactly the same. I know this is a long shot but I rather not waste money on hinges that don't fit properly. They are quite expensive.

This is for the wind deflector that fits in place of the sunroof? My car is 3/90 and my original deflector was stolen. I picked up a replacement a few years ago and it never quite fit without forcing it. The hinges seem correct but its almost as if the were spaced too far apart or not at the correct angle. I will take some pics tonight when I get home. I am willing to bet mine is for the later 1990's. I was not aware that there was a difference.

Yes it goes in place of the sunroof, and I would greatly appreciate the pictures. I wasn't aware there was a different either, but if you have to really jam it in the slots, there might be.

Here are a few pictures of mine. Hopefully they help. I'll try to take some measurements tomorrow as well. Maybe we can solve the mystery.

Thanks for the pictures. I actually picked up a visor complete with brackets for cheap from a DSM group, so when I get it in the mail I'll see how it mounts and post back.
