1g turbo na head different?

i have a 1990 tsi with a bunch of bent valves and was trying to find out if all 4g63 6 bolt heads are all the same without much luck. i will use my old cams and new valve spring but Im trying to keep this very cheap. thank you very much

Depending oh how bad the valves are bent, you may need to replace the guides, when the guides are replaced the seats need cut, so thats a whole valve job.

If you have a good NA head, swap over your good parts to it.

NA and turbo heads are the same, except the NA has a plug in the oil port for the turbo oil feed.

Make sure all valves are stamped 6T or are a stainless steel replacement.

you just answered that question for me about a week ago, there should be some of sticky of swappable parts between all the eclipses (1g/2g) even maybe swappable 3000gt parts.

I have also herd that non turbo cams are not as big as turbo cams

andrew.... may be true and it may not be. Due to the age of the car, and what interchanges.

I would look at the cams and get the letter off them and then check this thread.
