1g turbo doner for turboing my 420a?

Ok guys here are the cars.
I have a 92 Talon Tsi with no title it ran but smoked like a freight train, and need an atrocious amount of body work.
The other is a 99 Eclipse RS bone stock 420a.

Since i last posted on this particular forum it has been over a year, since then i have done alot of research and learned a lot about DSM 1g vs 2g etc.... but anyway to the question. I was wondering what all parts could i use off my 1g tsi to use going turbo with my 420a? i have search buttoned this but havent been able to find anything thus far. i am a Noob to anything to do with turbos i just know the basic concept of how it helps produce more hp. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
 
Parts wise, nothing. Nothing is interchangeable between the two. They are two whole different platforms.

Now if you had a GSX/GST, that's a whole other story. But with a 420a platform you will need new everything (manifold, internals, and so forth).
 
I believe he is asking what he needs to swap the turbo engine into his car.

You should probably just use the RS as a DD and find a 1gawd with a blown engine and swap those parts. Then you'll have a nice DD and a fun car 1g.

And to answer the question you'd need the 2g turbo harness, ecu, possible 6 bolt swap parts. It's a long long long list and it's going to make your head spin.
 
It's going to be a lot more then a turbo harness and ECU. He has a RS, and swapping that motor to his RS would cost as much as just buying a GSX/GST (assuming he doesn't do all fab himself).. But I agree leave it stock if you want to use that 1G any.

Clearly he wants to use parts from his 1g tsi and not swap things over. Which as I stated he can't do as I was saying. I mean by all means swap everything over, it's been done but it is not an easy task.

If the intent is to use the 14b turbo on the 420A engine, it would require a manifold with the correct flange and some custom piping. See this link for an explanation of turbo flange sizing. Most manifolds available for 420A are going to be T3/T4 and the 14b requires a DSM TD05/T25 (TK011) flange. Better off sourcing a kit or better piece parts.
 
Thank you all with the swift replies. I was going to build the 1g to the gills but i dont have a title so it would have to be a strictly track car. I want this to double as possible a showcar/weekend warrior type deal. Sorry for the confusion my question was if i could use any of the turbo system parts on my 420a when i convert it i know the engines are way diffferent, but i was asking if there are any parts a could use to save some $$$$. But my mind is not restricted to the idea of ONLY turboing the 420a its just my beat bet with no title for the 1g tsi.

Also im not wanting to go crazy with boost , 8-10 psi is what i was thinking of running untill i have some time on my hands to pull the engine and totally overhaul it and make it beefier.
