Like stated above, the blocks are the SAME, as well as the crankshaft and rods. The difference is the pistons and the oil squirters. Yes the bellhousings are all different between, awd turbo, fwd turbo, and fwd non-turbo; it has nothing to do with the bolt pattern to the engine though.

blocks are the same except pistons and oilsqts. heads are the same except for the cams, thermostat housing/coolant rail(coolant feed and drain lines). you do NOT need to tap for knock sensor there is a bolt hole on the back side of the block to use. harness wise all you need is a wire ran to the ve sensor and a wire to the knock sensor, along with the resistor pack wired into the injectors. if you need specifics i have tons of pics and info from all our swaps and fabrication.

Everything will bolt on and work just fine on both motors. Just get a used turbo block for cheap, they are everywhere.

ok i just ran into a big problem i just found out the block the guy is selling is a 7bolt from a 93 awd turbo talon.the only way i can use this block is if my 6bolt crank will fit in the 7bolt witch i have no idea but please say it does?
