I origins thought my only option was to buy a dsm link and they cost a pretty penny but I was told by a guy who’s apparently done it before that I can get a black box ecu outa a 98 eclipse which are like 100$ and swap it with mine as long as I require the spark plugs in the order of the 98 and then I’ll be able to tune. Anyone have any experience I plan on doing this but idk if it’s full of problems. if it’s possible though I’d save a ton of money. thanks

ECMlink and never look back. If you think the cost of a tuning platform being $545 is pricey, you might want to rethink being a DSMer. Are you looking for a 1g or 2g? Title says 1g...but youre asking about a 2g ecu. Or are you wanting to put a 2g ecu into your 1g?
