1G Trade For 2G?

I was just wondering if you guys could help me out?I just wanted to see if it is realistic to try and trade my 1990 Eagle talon tsi AWD for a 2G N/T? Am i just thinking unrealistic or does that seem like something that someone would be interested in? I am just not as performance minded as most and i figure,from what i read here that alot of people would love to get there hands on my car all the time. I had a guy ask me to sell it to him the other day at the gas station(Thats like the 5th offer in a month)But it just seems like so many other people could do som much more with my car than i am willing to do. Any input would be helpful.Thanks.

That doesn't sound unrealistic at all. I see 2g n/ts go for 2900 bucks sometimes and people selling 1g awd's for 4 grand plus. Just have to find the right person

You could go to dsmtrader.com. I think you should just keep it, even if you don't mod it, it will be a fun car, unless you're just looking to have a newer car.

I was thinking about doing the same thing, but for different reasons. I simply can't afford to keep my car. No one wants it though, unless I lower the price from $3000 to $500. Good luck trading it, though.

well im tryign to trade a 21,000 retail Grand cherokee for an 18,000 retail wrangler, and peoepl are calling me stupid on jeep boards.

Well it is pretty much the maint. side of it.I need a car that is alittle more reliable. I go to school and so i dont have the time to beef it up like other people could. I just hate to see this car go to waste. and i would prefer something a little newer. I really appreciate your guys help. Keep it comin!

Well I've had both and I can tell you that you could probably get up to a 97-98 2G Rs if you wanted to.My 2g never gave me any problems that weren't maintanance or on time.Lookswise it's prettier then a 1g,but I would of trade it it for a 1gT-AWD in a second.Just make sure the one your'e getting is not beat up.I would get a manual too because the auto is just frustraingly SLOOOOOWW.I loved my 2g she was a sexy bi***(pics in profile)but now I got some turbo,I got some turbo,I got some turbo.
