1g to 2g swap.

I know I had this thread before - but im going to be specific now. I am looking at getting a 95 gst with no motor, no tranny, and no ecu. I have a 93 TSI awd. I want to turn the gst into a running car by using my 93 tsi components. Will this work? Do I need a 2g tranny? Do I need a 2g ecu? What components will swap over and which won't work. Any input would help tremedously.
