1G 1g throttle not going WOT

I have 1992 1g Eclipse DOHC non turbo in Finland and it won't go to WOT no matter what I do. It closes fully but won't go WOT or it goes WOT but butterfly valve won't go to fully closed position. Please help!

Check if the tiny screws that hold the butterfly valve (aka throttle plate) onto its throttle body shaft are stripped or are loose. Careful tightening - they strip easily. Also they are very easy to lose or drop into the throttle body - take precautions.

If you disconnect the throttle cable from the throttle body and articulate the throttle by hand, does it have full motion?

Also adding onto the tiny screws holding the butterfly plate on, their Japanese industrial screw (JIS), not Phillips like any sane person would reasonably assume, so it you do end up taking them out and reinstalling them with thread lock it’d be worth getting JIS bits to avoid that whole headache.

Yes I've had experience with exactly that. The JIS ones seat slightly different (different bevel perhaps?) than Phillips, and the heads look different too.
