1g thermostat housing & coolant pipe for a 6 bolt swap????

Read plenty of journals and the Magnus write up on the 6 bolt into a 2g swap....but is it a must have to use the 1g thermostat housing and coolant pipe that runs from the water pump?? Differences in the 2??? Thanks

are you re-using the 2g head? I would just match it up with the head that you are running

Yea using a 2g head-'just noticed on the magnus write up- parts list says 1g thermostat housing and coolant pipe

Not a must but it does tend to make it easier if you are going to feed coolant to your turbo.
