Hello, my friend just bought a complete motor from the junk for 150 from a 90' talon tsi.
I was wondering if he could still be able to use the 90 tb on his 95 gst or what, and if not why is that??

That I don't know but I doubt it. I have a 90 motor in mine and I had to use the 93 throttlebody because all the wires and plugs where different. Hopes this helps

The early 90 tb has two fittings on the top and two on the front side of it, which makes it incompatible with the later model eclipse. If it's from an early 90, then it wont work. He'll need to find a different one.
