1g talon passenger body panel

didn't exactly know where to post this but here it goes....how do i take off the passenger exterior body panels (door and quarter panel) on my 1g tsi awd? links or info would be awesome. thanks

To take off the door, you will have to take off the hinges and the other hardware where the door rotates when you open it. As for the quarter, you would have to get a spotweld cutter, or some type of cutting wheel. Depending if you want to save the panel, you might have to cut up to the rear hatch. Hope this helps.

i appreciate the help, but i need to knwo how to take off the door panel/molding on the passenger door and quarter panel of my 1g.

if its the inside panel, there are a couple of screws that needs to be removed. there are 3 on the top towards the front of the door by the glass,1 down lower by the speaker,1 in the lower part of the pull handle under a little square tab that pops out and 1 were the lock lever is . back up were you take out the 3 screws there is a black triangle thats cliped on just above the panel take that off , then grab the lower part of the panel and pull the clips out.once the panel is pulled loose lift it up in the direction the widow goes up. just in case you mean the out side strip its glued on be careful or it will break hope that helps. dave
