1g DOOR PANEL REMOVAL

hey i was trying to get my door panel off and i started with the black plastic where the window switch is and i cant get the window switch out. any ideas how to get it out.....

The black piece in the panel is attatched to the grey part. They shouldn't come apart. To get the panel off you'll have to remove 3 screws on the side closest to the dash and don't forget the hidden one in the lower corner. After that just get the two inside the handle/cup piece and it should pop off.

Some may beg to differ, but picking up a Chilton or Haynes manual actually has some pretty useful instructions and illustrations on the "Chassis" section. It has saved me a LOT of broken plastic by pointing out all the fastening points.

Window switch stays on door panel when removing panel. You can remove it afterwards though, just phillips screws.
