1g stock turbo Fuel Pumps?

I have a '93 FWD turbo car and looking to get a stock 1g turbo FP to have as a spare. Are ALL 1g turbo FP's the same? Is there any difference between '90 + 91-94's? If I got AWD pump would it make install any more dificult vs getting a FWD pump meant for my car?

All 1G AWD pumps are the same and all 1G FWD pumps are the same. But the two don't interchange.

There's basically two pump styles for DSMs:
One fits all 2G turbo, 1G FWD turbo, & EVO8/9.
The other fits 1G AWD.

Plus, the 1G FWD turbo and NT pump/tank/bracket are different. A NT sending unit will not fit a turbo fuel tank.

According to what I'm seeing in other threads is AWD +FWD pumps are the same but the brackets are different.

The difference is inline VS. offset in regards to where the pick-up is in relation to the outlet. I really doubt they can be interchanged because I doubt the 1G AWD has clearance to have the filter aimed in the opposite direction.
