Im having idle problem, only happens when I start it up, it would idle at 1500-2000rpm, then drop down to 500rpm, then it would go back up to 2000rpm for 1.5 min, until it goes back to the normal/ stable 700rpm. Thinking that throttle body, or the timing is off. Anyone experiencing similar idle problem?? Solutions??

Does it do this in gear or only in park/neutral? Do you have ac and power steering on this car?

It only idle in consistently when it's in park/neutral. I do not have AC, but I do have power steering on my car. I just put the engine in April with my boyfriend. Still working on the couple of other things also...
