Hi,

I want to set and check base timing. Can I read it from a MMCd data logger while pin 12(Timing) is grounded? Can I change the base timing and read it from the MMCD data logger? I'm reading 7 degrees during idle at the logger, pin 12(Timing) not grounded.

Thanks in advance.

No the datalogger must be disconnected when trying to set the base timing.
Grounding both the timing adjust connectors and pin 10 on the DLC cause the ECU to enter the mode for setting the base idle speed.

Got it. Thanks Steve.
