hey, i am having some trouble with my 93 talon rear shocks, both sides undoing the bolts are not a problem it seems as if the lower part of the shock is stuck on and does not want to come off easy? has anyone had this happen before?

well the rubber peice/metal sleeve is seized onto the post and im not sure how to get it off, maybe with a dremel and make a small cut around it?

My dad hit mine till it came off..you just have to keep hitting it until the rust lets loose.Or whatever it keeping it there..maybe spray some penetrating silicone(soak)..and let it sit for a hour. Cutting it will be last resort

They are a pain to get out. Like said, use some penetrating oil and just start smacking it.

Penetrating oil, BFH, and a pry bar. They're always a pain if they haven't been off recently, I put some antiseize on mine when the new stuff went on. Last resort is usually heat, although that will melt the rubber bushing out probably.

did you get it off? I just re did mine yesterday, all i used is the prong side of a hammer to pull it out, while tapping on the other side. Hope you got it done tho!
