Looking to replace the quarter glass trim, all 3 pieces on a 1G. Does anyone know how many retainer clips (#8) and fasteners (#9) are needed for the upper and lower trim? I know the lower trim has 3 unique clips (#5, 6, 7) however not sure if need #9 fasteners for the bottom trim or just for the top trim.
Thanks.

In addition does anyone know how to remove the lower trim molding (4)? It appears to snap onto the clips and must pry it off?

Don't pry straight out, push in to release it off the catches, just take your time, don't get me wrong you are dealing with very old clips and the catches can break easily. The 3rd piece slides out the top, it probably is semi stuck due to the window sealant holding it back. The pic will show you what hardware is involved.

Perfect, thanks so much, this is awesome info.
For the bottom molding it appears there are at least 3 "fasteners" (#9) that attach to clip (#6)?
And it looks like the lower molding clips to those 3 fasteners (#(9) as well as the end clips (#5 & 7)?
Do you start at the back or the front or doesn't matter?
You say the top molding slides out the top. Do you mean slide it forward (towards the hood) along its length?

Thanks again.

Did you get these off without breaking anything? Are there any tools involved?

Are these two metal clips hooked onto the plastic clip on the body?

Does anyone make these plastic clips? Mine are missing and I'd like to install the rear quarter glass. My only other option would be to rivet a poly window into it..... but I'd rather attach it properly the oem way.

I have been watching this product development as I also need these clips.
